As a serial Internet entrepreneur, Jeffrey founded MyLife™ and is the company's CEO and Chairman. He is responsible for the company's overall direction and strategies toward building the Internet's single source for finding people and staying connected on the Web.
Jeffrey founded the company in 2002, originally under the name Reunion.com, after meeting his wife at his 10-year high school reunion. Through his direction, the company has consistently grown since inception to become one of the most visited properties on the Internet, with a membership of more than 50 million members. The company has received many accolades, and Jeffrey himself was recognized as an E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Semi-Finalist in 2008.
Previously, Jeffrey was a founder and CEO of GreatDomains.com, the world's leading secondary domain name marketplace. He was instrumental in helping turn an unproven business concept into a profitable company. As the market leader, GreatDomains.com was responsible for facilitating some of the largest domain-name sales in the industry through its service and platform, including Loans.com for $3 million. At the end of the year 2000, the company was acquired by publicly-traded VeriSign, the Internet's leading domain name registry, for a reported $100 million.
Jeffrey is also involved in a number of private Internet companies as an investor and advisor.
Peter Oey joined MyLife in March 2012 as Chief Financial Officer. In his capacity as CFO, Peter oversees the controller, treasury, corporate & financial strategy, tax, risk management, investor relations, financial information systems and stock administration functions. Peter comes to MyLife from Activision Blizzard, the world's leading publisher of interactive entertainment software, where he was VP, Corporate Controller and had responsibility for the Company's global Accounting & Reporting functions, financial global processes, studio & royalty finance and the Company's financial systems and architecture. Prior to being Activision Blizzard's Corporate Controller, Peter was based in London as the Head of Finance for Activision Europe, and prior to that, based in Sydney as Head of Finance for Activision Asia Pacific. Peter began his career in public accounting and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney, Australia and is a licensed CPA registered in Australia.
Thod Nguyen joined Mylife in March, 2009. As Chief Technology Officer at MyLife, he is responsible for the company-wide technology vision, strategic roadmap, team building, technical leadership and agile project management/process between Product and Technology while overseeing Engineering, Infrastructure and QA teams in 3 locations globally.
Thod has over 15-years of experience leading, developing and executing innovative large-scale enterprise social media and web-based products/services and served as Chief Architect at United Online whose brands include MyPoints, Classmates, FTD and NetZero. Thod holds a patent on Web Acceleration.
Thod has a B.S. in Computer Science from McGill Univeristy.
Paul is MyLife's Senior Vice President, General Counsel. He brings over 25 years of extensive business and legal experience to MyLife including serving as a senior executive and general counsel (Chief Legal Officer) for several successful internet, software and media companies in California and Colorado. He also brings many years of private practice legal experience at top national law firms in Silicon Valley. Paul has a MBA in addition to a Juris Doctorate from UCLA (JD-MBA program) where he was on Law Review, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley where he graduated with highest honors. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Exempla - Good Samaritan Medical Center Foundation in Colorado for several years. Paul enjoys locating, advising, and investing in emerging companies and has been an angel investor and advisor for many years.
Michael Soh joined MyLife as SVP, Marketing in February 2010. Prior to joining MyLife, Michael led regional sales efforts for Tribal Fusion and eHarmony.com. At eHarmony, he was instrumental in putting eHarmony's publishing division on the map by forging key strategic partnerships with top advertising clients within the Entertainment & Automotive sector.
Prior to his engagement within the Publishing arena, Michael was a seasoned advertising agency executive. His most recent agency role was interim Managing Director, Digital for David & Goliath, LLC where he oversaw all digital marketing initiatives for its portfolio of clients. Prior to David & Goliath, Michael spent several years at Carat (Aegis Media) as VP, General Manager. During his tenure he grew the agency from 10 to 50+ people, while increasing revenues and profits by 60%. Previous to Carat, Michael served in advertising leadership roles at several companies including, Saatchi & Saatchi, GENEX, Business.com and WeddingChannel.com. He's played a key role in leading integrated digital strategy, client management, and new business growth acquisitions across multiple client categories, including Automotive, Entertainment, e-Commerce, Retail and Travel. Former agency clients include Acura, Adidas, Gateway, Hyundai Motor America, Kia Motor America, Jenny Craig, LuxuryLink.com, MovieLink, Napster, New Line Cinema, Toyota Motor Sales, and Tourism of Australia.
Michael has a B.S. in Marketing from the California State University, Long Beach.
Sharyn has been with MyLife from day one and is the Vice President of Marketing Operations while also overseeing general business operations including Human Resources. Sharyn came to MyLife from Cantor Fitzgerald, where she was the Director of Advertising Operations for their Internet division, the Hollywood Stock Exchange. While at Cantor Fitzgerald, Sharyn established policies and procedures for the advertising department and managed the ad-serving technology. Prior to Cantor Fitzgerald, she worked at FOX Sports Television where she was the Director of Advertising Operations and was in charge of overseeing the integration and analysis of all broadcast media buys. Sharyn has also worked in Human Resources at Katkin Corporation, public relations at MTV Networks and advertising sales at E! Entertainment Television.
Sharyn holds a B.A. degree in Sociology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She received her M.A. in Media Ecology from New York University, along with a certificate in Marketing from the University of California at Berkeley.
Todd Schlosser has been with MyLife since Jan 2005. As V.P. of Business Intelligence, he oversees the company's business intelligence and analytics needs through data warehouse operations, reporting, and analytics using state of the art technologies. He and his team develop all the necessary reporting, data mining, forecasting and predictive analytics required to optimize all areas of the business as well as any statistical requirements using analytical tools. Todd has over 28 years experience in technology with expert knowledge in software development, database and data warehouse architecture, mathematics, analytics, statistics and data mining techniques. He served previously as Director of Engineering at TheBrain Technologies. He holds a Masters degree in Information Technology from the University of Liverpool.
K.C. Brotherton serves as Vice President of Search Products, where he is responsible for the data assets of Mylife as well as the search platform. He joined MyLife in 2008 as Sr. Product Manager of Search. Prior to MyLife, K.C. served as Vice President of Technical Operations at Guthy-Renker Home. K.C. oversaw Guthy-Renker Home's site development, as well as managed the backend infrastructure of the site and its development team. Prior to Guthy-Renker Home, K.C. was Vice President of Technical Operations for RealtyTacker which was sold to Guthy-Renker in 2007. He also served as Director of Product Management at RealtyTracker LLC. K.C. previously served as Director of Web Services, for Rouse Asset Services where he managed its first large-scale deployments, delivering products to 4 of the top 10 construction rental firms in the country. He served as Director of Implementation of Hiwire, where he managed and deployed targeted ad content for over 450 streaming online radio stations.
Aaron Taylor is responsible for all Customer Care functions at MyLife.com and focuses on providing a consistent, customer-centric environment. He oversees all interaction touch points including e-mail, live chat and phones and is responsible for the speed, accuracy, quality and tone of all customer communications.
Aaron has over 15-years experience building and managing world-class Customer Care organizations and has held senior level positions at companies like eHarmony.com, Stamps.com and GEINE Consulting & Outsourcing where his clients included House of Blues, Fortis, Perot Systems and many others. He is a Six Sigma green-belt and has provided consulting services to companies/organizations like, The City of El Monte, GE Capital, Superior Engineering and many others. Aaron is a frequent lecturer at various industry events and has contributed articles to industry publications such as Contact Professional Magazine providing a wide range of expertise in areas including Call Center Start-up/Operations, Customer Retention, Quality Awareness and KPI Management.
Aaron studied Music (Pipe Organ Performance) at the University of Southern California.
