I have recently relocated to Maryland to work for the NIH (National Institute of Health) as a Biologist in the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics. It was a hard decision whether or not to leave the start-up biotech company in Cambridge, MA that I had helped establish, but decided to give it a chance despite the fact that my father has been fighting lung cancer for the past 2 years now. I've been doing a lot of traveling on the weekends because of it and the fact that I have no other siblings to depend on. It's proven to be a rough time in my life, but I seem to be managing it accordingly. As a stress relief I enjoy motorcycling, rock climbing, scuba diving, country music/dancing and rodeoing with friends and my boyfriend.
