About My Personal Life

I moved to Georgia right after graduation. Met my husband to be about a month after moving here - we dated for 6 years before finally marrying. We have been married 13 years and have 3 beautiful children ages 11, 9 and 2(surprise!). We are very busy between work, church, baseball, swimming lessons, etc. My husband and I try to find some time at least once or twice a month for us. Whether it be riding the Harley or just going out to dinner and a movie and some Krispy Kreme donuts. My husband is an avid body builder. He works at Georgia Pacific and has been there for 12 years. He is the Safety Coodinator over the paper machines.

About My Work Life

I have been with this company for 15 years. The steamship industry is fast-paced and stressful but I am not sure what I would do if I ever left "the business". Any given day is a different scenario - whether it is Lowe's wanting to know where their cargo is or how many chassis are in Birmingham (of couse you would have to understand the lingo), it is a fast paced industry and never boring! We have vessels that call all over the world. I communicate with people all over the world. I may speak to someone in Europe and then in Miami and then again in Taiwan all in the same day via e-mail or phone. It is a challenging career and I learn something new evey day.
