About My Personal Life

Dear Friends,What a short eight years it's been eh? Well, when we last met I was on my way to Cornell and there I did spend 4 years. Um, 4.5. What a life it was. Studying and snow. After college, I moved to Guangzhou, China where I spent the better part of two years teaching English and keeping dry. The weather was hot and wet but the school was full of Canadians, which if you've ever met a Canadian, you'll agree is a welcome relief after a life surrounded by Americans. Well, after a year with my beloved peace-loving Canadians, and English-loving students, I signed up for another year. To make this boring story shorter, I've ended up in Beijing to pursue a career in something I haven't found yet. At the moment, however, I'm in Internet--apparently a lucrative business in China, though I've yet to reap the benefits. But I've got time. What I have gotten out of China is an ability to read, write, speak, hear, and occasionally translate Chinese. Its a beautiful country. You must visit one day. We're no longer communist, we're Socialist with Chinese Characteristics! Nowadays, I surround myself with books, beer, music and Canadians. I've come to hold a strong belief in the racial superiority of Canadians. So docile so meek so agreeable. I love you Canada! God bless America (for you blue blooded patriots--God love you!) Hee, hee, well I'm done making an ass of myself now. I do hope that one day I will hear from some of you.
