So... things have not gone according to plan... Here's the _short_ version of the story:I started out as an architecture major at Cal Poly SLO, but ended up transferring to UC Riverside, from which I graduated with an English degree in 1993. I then moved to Madison, Wisconsin, to attend the graduate English program at the University of Wisconsin. I dropped out of that almost immediately (long story... email me if you want details), but remained in Wisconsin (cheese and snow!), where I spent the next five years working a series of 14 (count 'em, 14) menial jobs (my resulting pathetic resume is available upon request). I decided to return to school (for art this time), and moved to Champaign, Illinois (tiny city surrounded by very flat cornfields as far as the eye can see), in 1998 to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree in Photography. The entire gradate photography program promptly collapsed (long unpleasant story), and I was forced to transfer elsewhere to finish. I'm thus now in the MFA program at Ohio State University. Yes, that means I live in *shudder* central Ohio, but the school's paying me to be here and make art so (finally!), I suppose, things could be worse. Eventually, I'll finish school and become an eccentric starving artist. You'll be able to say that you knew me when...
