Public Profiles

1. I never joined MyLife.com. Why do I have a profile on this website?

It's our mission to help people reconnect with everyone from their past. To that end, MyLife.com has compiled profiles for U.S. adults in order to create the most comprehensive people-search service on the web and fulfill our mission to reconnect people with everyone from their past.

The information in these profiles comes from a variety of records in the public domain. That means that everyone has free access to this information about you already. But instead of putting together all the bits if information on your own, we have assembled it for you in an easy-to-read format so people can reconnect with you.

Here at MyLife.com, we're committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information (address, phone number, etc.) is secure and is never revealed by us to nonmembers. See how we're safeguarding your privacy.

2. How do I remove my public profile from MyLife.com?

We understand that not everyone will want to have a public profile on MyLife.com. This information about you, however, is already available on other public websites. We have simply brought it together in one place so that you can take control of it and use it to reconnect with people you know.

An important difference between MyLife.com and other people-search sites is that we give you control over your public profile. By becoming a free MyLife.com Member, you can decide how much of your information is displayed to the public. MyLife.com is committed to protecting your privacy. See how we're safeguarding your privacy.

Please note that if you decide to remove your public profile from MyLife.com, it will not erase your information from Google or other online search engines, or from any public-records services that may have your information. To remove your listing from other websites, you will need to contact those businesses directly.

If you would like to remove your public profile/listing from MyLife.com, return to your public profile, and click on the "YES, this is me!" button. Please follow the steps indicated on through the claiming process. If you prefer to verify and remove your information via phone, please call Customer Care toll free at 1-888-704-1900, 6:00AM - 9:00PM Monday - Friday, PT; 6:00AM - 6:00PM Saturday and Sunday, PT and speak with one of our Profile Specialists. A service fee may apply.

3. What are public-domain records?

Some profiles on MyLife.com have been created by Members during registration, while others have been created by assembling publicly available information.

When individuals supply information to state and federal agencies, or to post offices, courthouses, credit card companies, and the like, non-sensitive data becomes accessible to the public. This data is compiled and maintained in various public-records databases across the country; it's the type of information marketers have been using for years to contact you regarding their products and services.

Our goal with this information is to create the most comprehensive people-search service on the web for the purposes of enabling individuals to remain in contact with one another. We do this to fulfill our mission to help people reconnect with everyone from their past. At the same time, MyLife.com is committed to protecting your privacy. See how we're safeguarding your privacy.
