About My Personal Life

Unfortunately, I dropped out on graduation day because problems with one of my teachers; a decision I regret until today. Being opening gay in high school was not easy and contributed to the reasons for dropping out. Despite these difficulties, I made good friends and still have good memories. I still consider myself part of the class of 85 at least because those were my classmates and I dropped out so late. Nevertheless, I got a GED, went on to college, and received a PhD in international relations. During my studies, I ran of to Europe and now live in Berlin, Germany, with my partner of 10 years. I also have a foster son who lives partially in Bosnia and partially in Berlin and fills my life with joy.

About My Work Life

Currently, I work as a mediator/conflict reoslution consultant in Bosnia and Kosovo and teach mediation and negotiation in a Masters program in Brussels. I lead and NGO focusing on conflict reoslution.
