About My Personal Life

My home base is L.A., and I love to travel (guess it's the military brat in me), so I'm out of my city at least 3 months a year, as my year-round school work schedule (4 months on, 2 months off, twice a year for a dozen years now!) as a bilingual Spanish children's teacher and coach consultant for others in education from elementary to high school in urban L.A. gives me the opportunity to do so, see family and friends far away, often, a month or 2 at a time! Nov/Dec 2006 a month on the Big Island & Oahu, Hawaii; Nov/Dec 2005 5 weeks Mexico and Hawaii; June 2005 Indiana/Kentucky/New York; May 2005 Austria and Hungary; Dec. 2004 French Polynesia and New York; Nov. 2004 Peru and Bolivia; June 2004 Mazatlan and midwest/east coast Cedar Point, Niagara Falls, Syracuse....; May 2004 Nuevo Vallata; Nov./Dec. 2003 Grand Cayman and Windjammer Barefoot Cruises; and much more! Favorite places to go? Natural environments, but I enjoy them all!!!! From backpacking to trains, swimming, hiking, and planes, I'm scuba certified, have seen the world's largest bronze Buddha, viewed the only undefeated rock castle fortress in the world (Austria), and explored the world's largest ice cave (also Austria)!!! Back to Peru and Bolivia 5/7 & 6/7.  I feel quite fortunate to learn about other cultures and lands far away. Still want to go to Africa, Australia, and Patagonia though! Surprisingly, I've never married nor had children, just lost 2 beautiful brown-spotted Dalmatians to old age.  Future's full of possibilities!!!!!

About My Work Life

When I work, I work hard; when I play, I play harder, travel, that is! I love tropical spots mostly, but adventures, like Machu Pichu too and Colca Canyon condor sightings in Peru, as well.
