Hello to whoever takes the time to read this! After graduation, I moved with my family to Dallas, Oregon, a beautiful little town in the Willamette Valley. I met my future husband Bill Brandt in a church College group that I was a part of and in November we will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary (no small accomplishment in this day and age!) We have two awesome and amazing children who I love more than life itself. Our son Bo, is 20, and attends John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. I've always said that even though Bo was born in Oregon, he is a southern boy at heart. He is studying political science and accounting. Our beautiful baby girl's name is Bethany. I've always called her baby girl, even though she just turned 18 and graduated from high school this past June. She is an amazingly quick witted young lady, a trait that she inherited from her father. She also has a presence about her that can be a bit intimidating until people get to know her. People say she gets that from me?! I say it's more like her grandma Elsie Ford! Bill and I are going through the empty nest syndrome which I thought would be tremendously hard but it's actually rather nice to have time for each other. We have been involved in various types of ministries all through out our married life including youth, children, music, and my personal favorite, drama ministries. I've been directing in churches and in schools for over 15 years now!Bill and I will be attending my 30th next year which will be the first one of mine that I've made it to. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone and letting Bill meet those who knew me way back when.
