I was never in many clubs. My mom says I was too busy watching everybody else, especially the boys. In some ways she is right. I didn't date much. From junior high through out high school I worked in the library and audio visual departments. I loved it then and still love to visit the library. I met D.C when I was 15 and he was the only boy I really dated through high school. I miss my old buddy, "Moe" or Marty H. He was always able to make me smile and laugh, even on rough days. Listening to the "Rambler" on the radio up on top of bear mountain, swimming and tubing down the pigeon river, and everyone meeting at the rec park to hang out ...till we would get run off. I started my school years at North Canton school, moved to Bethel in the 4th grade, and graduated from Pisgah High in 1981. Some of the people I'd like to reach is Marty H. (Moe), Jeff and Marty H., Leslie I., Karen I., Jerri S., Diane F., gosh there are so many, and my memory is faulted ;) and I'll always miss the ones that are already gone Tammy C., Grace S., Buttons S. We had good times, safe times and so much fun I'll never forget.
I have been divorced from my high school boyfriend for six years. I have two children both in middle school this year. The only real contact I've had with my high school buddies (that are still alive) has been mostly just running into them at the grocery or in town. I'm not advertising for a date, but would like to find some of the old gang, or talk to people from our generation. Its just too "weird" sometimes when I look at my kids and remember the good old days with my friends in junior high. I work from home and just live my life to raise my kids. Whatever that takes from day to day.
