Some 7 or 8 years ago, I began by calling my oldest daughter and in distress, confessing to her that her father and I had been seeing one another for a bit and that I was pregnant. She freaked out but on the cool, was almost accepting of it all. That's when I screamed at the top of my lungs, "APRIL FOOLS'!!!!! It had only just begun. We then teamed up to call my mother. With us both sobbing the exact story to her, we'd convinced her of her worst nightmare. But wait..... this joke was just getting juicy when we topped the cake and called the newly expectant father himself. After several minutes of some very rare, civil conversation, I was ready to convince the peice of crap that we had neither one remarried for some fateful reason and that we should , he should consider something I had contemplated for years. You guessed it! And April Fools to you too!
