About My Personal Life

June 2002 (last updated):I plan to get married later this year in Illinoisto Hyejeong Park, a Korean woman who I met inGermany almost two years ago. She is justfinishing her studies in post-war German History.I live in Madrid, whereI am working at Spain's Center for Astrobiology. Iam building robots and robotic visionsystems to search for life on other planets andmoons (i.e. Mars & Europa).I spent the last two years in northern Germany(Bielefeld) working in the fields of robotics,complex systems, and neural networks. I joined aBasketball club team and an English speaking clubhere. I learned some German, and I played a bit oflacrosse there last year.I spent 11 years in Tucson (mostly at the University of Arizona).
