Mar 08, 2000: About My Personal Life; I'm here basking in the sun and warmth of Miami, FL!!! The University of Miami is wonderful and I'm working my ass off as a Microbiology major. But I love it!! Ok, well that chemistry department stuff was just freshman year, which is ancient history by now. The last 2 summers i was working in the Rheumatology dept. at Wash U doing research on the complement system, and i was working here at UM in teh Physiology & Biophysics dept. doing research on cell-cell binding. Better than all this was when I went to Mexico in the Spring of 2001 for a study abroad program. I had a really great time! This summer I may be going to Costa Rica for 2 weeks on a medical mission trip. Until then i'm studying my ass of for the MCATs (and feeling somewhat envious of Mike Anderson who doesn't have to go through all this! but it was my own choice, right?)
