Find me on Facebook and (both are private profiles but send me a message and I will add you.) If you can't afford the message system on here -- these places are both free and I got new pictures on one of the places. Ron Fitzgerald owns a copy of Tales of the Talisman and I got him holding a copy of it for David Lee Summers. Be careful of a crazed bitch trying to add you on myspace from Effort, PA. (Get lost Koehler.)

- New Material.....
-
Right now I am working on a brand new story and this is titled Supernatural Broadcasts. This one is going to have a darker scare behind it and it plays off the very same inspiration that Wes Craven had when he wrote Nightmare On Elm Street. I am looking to find a magazine where I can unleash this one because right now it is 8500 words and there will be no way in hell I am able to cut this one down. At the very same note, I found my anthology project the very first one I published and edited available on tower dot com. Type in Tabloid Purposes and you will find it right away. I got accepted in the anthology Diabolic Tales II -- if you want to find that one give me a holler on Myspace and I will give you the information where you can buy that anthology. I am still waiting on more details from the publisher before I can give you more information than I already know.

- Book signings in CHICAGO
-
If you class of 1994 guys want to see what the hell am I doing these days. I just released Tabloid Purposes IV and you got less than week to get it before the signing -- if you want to get this postal priority grab it up on Lulu.com. I am publishing some rather dark intense horror fiction in this one -- this is the darkest of the series by far before I do another Tabloid Purposes. I just got done writing An Eye In Shadows, a very dark nihilistic view at my high school years at Glenbard East High School. One of those books I am saying, "Fuck The World!" I got two book signings lined up for October -- the first will be on the 13th of October and the second on the 26th with Fragmentation being the backdrop -- Apathademon is hosting this festivities at Cafe Lura and VF Magazine is sponsoring both shows. You want more information about this show and Gothicfest -- visit my personal profile on myspace. Go ahead and say hello or give me the middle finger. I will be signing this year with Coach Culbertson, Aaron Christenson, and Scot Savage at the booth. Aaron will only be there on Friday, and Scot will be there only Saturday but the Coach and I will be hanging out on both days -- you can catch up with me on Friday if you went to school with me but I will be there with a date. But Saturday you can hang out at the booth for the most part bring your own mug for coffee and all of that. Coach will be bringing the coffee maker and I will be bringing beer for the crew. I am working to destroy the DuPage County area again soon -- in fact the first signing was in Villa Park. That was a lot of fun, wish I had the pictures from Spin Magazine because they caught me in bad boy mode. I was making faces and giving the finger to the camera. You want to have a few books signed at Fragmentation -- this is the time to get them, lulu.com it takes about a week for books to be delivered unless you want to spend the extra cash to have it there by Saturday before leaving for the event.

- Published with Tales of the Talisman

Holy shit -- I got my contributor copies back from Tales of the Talisman, and the story that is in the 2.4 incarnation of it is The Typewriter. This story is a print exclusive to the magazine. I am pleased with the way it turned out and if you want to give this a read, go to http://www.talesofthetalisman.com and grab yourself a copy. I also managed to rework the fifth issue of my magazine too for those of you who are on reunion.com and reading this -- this would be a photo of me critia 2007 holding a copy of the fifth issue of the mag. I published Lawrence Dagstine and Kevin James Hurtack. I also appaer on Withersin 1.1 with KJH and going to be in Lawrence Dagstine's magazine -- Literary Bone #2 which is coming out in 2008. One of the stories I am going to see in there titled Ghosts In The Tornado. I am sending to a few anthologies as I speak as a writer too -- and one of the stories I wrote will be published in Sinister Tales Magazine. The editor told me they want one of two stories I wrote either the story that is a reprint from the Quakes and Storms anthology project I did two years ago, and the other is a vampire story that is brutal as hell. With this being said -- be looking for a new short story on WritersCafe.org titled Misguidance, which is a shorter story I wrote from the apartment before moving back to the Joliet, Illinois, area. I am getting things ready for a convention in October too so I will be signing copies of House of Spiders 3 on Naked Snake Press. I am signing copies of Tales of the Talisman at the event that I am doing. I gave copies of the magazines that I appeared in and published to Scary Lady Sarah and JV of American Gothic Productions to read over to see what I am doing these days. If you're a writer and looking to get published I am looking at manuscripts right now as long they are sent to me via e-mail or via snail mail as long they are on a CD-ROM format -- stories must be a .doc file or an .rtf (Rich Text Format.) Fiction and Non-fiction will be looked at for The Ethereal Gazette, and horror fiction will be considered for Tabloid Purposes IV.

- About My Work Life
-
I am a Horror Writer who works from home, published on a few magazines -- you can find one of them on http://www.lbfbooks.com titled Tales of the Talisman. I am on Issue 2.4 and 2.1. I sold a novella to Naked Snake Press Books on Feb 2006 and this was co-written with author, Barbara Marjanovic. I will be in a magazine along side with novellist, Ed Lee, called Withersin Magazine, and this issue will have my true ghost story, Apt. 2W. I live in a haunted apartment across from Resurrection Cemetery. Want more information about the actual novella go to Carmillas Backroom linked from my main website, http://pacionesplot.batcave.net -- I am on myspace more than this place if you want to interact with me. I have my own magazine too for those looking to be published, the guidelines are on Ralan.com. I take horror fiction and science fiction, some literary fiction with a dark element in there. I publish a lot of occult themed horror, and the nonfiction must scare as much as the fiction does. The novella I wrote well it could be a short novel is called House of Spiders 3. I am published on the small press and semi-professional levels, still working on new material and sending it out to different magazines and anthologies.

Oh fuck, this would be a tough one. I basically kept to myself but sometimes there were shits who decided to be jerks. Almost every occupation or anywhere you go there will be someone being a shit. More so in the publishing industry; you meet the editors that are cool, then the ones you want send to hell in a handbasket.

Just finished my book signing, and been working on some new material. Some of my work can be found on the website http://www.horrormasters.com and in an upcoming magazine called Tales of the Talisman. I am very single, so ladies pay attention. New works planned is a nonfiction book called "An Eye In Shadows" about my first four years as an author, being from 1990-1994 observing it now with some chilling commentary. I got a book out right now called "Stories Of Science and Curiosity."
