About My School Life

after being pelted with rubber stoppers and open face sandwiches for several years for being a punk rocker, I can happily say my individuality and creativity paid off. Handsomely. Although I didn't really enjoy school, save for creative writting and a couple other courses... I did enjoy the friendships I made with the other "freaks." Cheers to you fellow individuals, you made school bearable amidst the mind numbing conformity of teenagehood. as for the people that threw the sandwiches and rubber stoppers at the punk rockers: My life's a rich adventure, eat my dust! HA!

About My Personal Life

I have traveled over north america, central america and europe, back packing for many years on and off and while at home I did painting/cinematography till I went to uni and got a degree in primate studies/ecology. I spent time as a white water guide apprentice after doing field work on the frazer river, then field work in Panama on a small island off the east coast, studying red mantled howlers and other aiding researchers in population counts of eyelash vipers. I moved to toronto for a year to complete uni, working in canada's largest animal hospital, then moved to England to work. I moved around in london, got a job for a couple of years in oxford (electronic journal editor for blackwell publishing- science division) but now reside in Brighton. Not married, as the law only changed recently allowing me to marry. When I bring my Cockney girlfriend home to Canada, it might happen then. No sprogs. I'm too irresponsible to breed. However I've had many hairy non-humans to take care of.
