Hollywood Proves Reunion Season is Here
September 26, 2005Reunion.com Survey Reveals Members Want Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston Reunited
Los Angeles – September 26, 2005 – Reunion.com, the leader in keeping people in touch online, recently conducted a survey of its members and discovered that many have had relationships that mimic Tinseltown's finest.
Like Hollywood couple Orlando Bloom and Kate Bosworth, Reunion.com members prove that they too can't keep their relationships intact. In fact, a surprising 76 percent of members surveyed have been involved in an on-again, off-again relationship, and most members look at their past relationships as their true loves. Reunion.com's survey shows that 81 percent of respondents have thought about reconnecting with those lost loves.
When asked which celebrities they would like to see back together, most, at 34 percent, responded that super-stars Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston should reunite, despite rumors of deepening relationships with Angelina and Vince. Not far behind in the rankings, 24 percent felt that Two and a Half Men sitcom star Charlie Sheen and former wife Denise Richards should give love another chance.
Do Reunion.com members think Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will stay together? Doubtfully. A whopping 63 percent of respondents felt that a Hollywood marriage is doomed from the start. That being said, Reunion.com members could have anticipated the recent break-up of Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney.
Network TV is also throwing its hat in to the reunion ring this fall with drama and "reality" programming like Reunion, Extreme Reunion, and All-Star Reality Reunion. Not to mention possible cast reunions including Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie for a fourth season of The Simple Life. Reunion.com members want to see a superstar Friends reunion with 40 percent of respondents choosing this series over Seinfeld, Family Ties, One Day at a Time, and Knots Landing. And the ever-popular Survivor series, in its 11th season, has seen former contestants Bobby Jon and Stephanie reunited with a new cast vying for another shot at the grand prize.
With reunions in the air throughout Hollywood, the theme that is emerging from popular culture is -- This is the Season of Reunions. Reunion.com has established a convenient and reliable way to reconnect with friends, family members or lost loves who may have moved away, changed email addresses, or just lost contact over the years. In fact, nearly 50 percent of survey respondents said they search the Internet to find people with whom they've lost touch, while the phone was less popular at 18 percent.
In addition, if you've ever wondered if someone is looking for you, Reunion.com's "Who's Searching for You?" feature will let you discover if that special somebody has been making an effort to track you down. The site's "People Search" feature offers another helpful tool to search through Reunion.com's 35 million-member database and locate up-to-date personal information as well as photos.
