Who'd I Like to Be in History

The Scarlet Pimpernel.  He was an English swashbuckling hero from the era of the French Revolution.  Society hated him because he acted effeminate in every day life.  He was Lord something or other (don't remember) whose family seal was the scarlet pimpernel, a small red flower.  But as his alter ego he rescued many a french aristocrat from the hangman's noose and the executioner's blade.  Hardly anybody knew who he was and yet he was the man of the hour.  I like that.

What?s your favorite family tradition?

Thanksgiving Day we all get together for dinner.  Before we ask for the blessing, we go around the table and each person, young or old, has to think of something that he/she is thankful for.  That sticks with each person and hopefully makes each and every person realize that his/her life is filled with blessings.  So when you go to bed instead of counting sheep, count your blessings.
