About My Personal Life

I graduated with a BA in Anthropology from Tufts Uinv. in 1994. Afterwards I moved to San Francisco to check out things there, but decided it wasn't the ideal place for me, so I started a business--Design Nation--in the ready-to-wear industry as a broker between West coast clothing designers and East coast retailers, and headed back to Boston. As I was green in the industry, and in business in general, Design Nation lasted only one-and-a-half short years. Poverty prompted me to move back to Milwaukee in 1996, where I started working for the Mark Travel Corporation (starting as a typical reservations agent and ending as the manager of the Marketing Planning & Devlopment dept.) The silver lining of that cloud that shrouded Design Nation was that it showed me that business is the field in which I want to be, so I went back to school at UWM for my MBA. Through the program I further learned that Anthropology and International Business are complementary, so I decided to move to Madrid, Spain in Oct 2000 to learn Spanish and test the waters of Europe. Subsequently I fell in love with it. Unfortunately in January 2001 my visa expired, leaving me at he undesirable status of 'illegal alien' so in Feb I returned home and am currently searching for jobs through US companies that will hopefully take me back there.
