I graduated from Indiana University in 1975. I moved to Illinois almost 20 years ago. I teach 3rd grade. I've been married to Henry Hunt (met in college) since 1974. Henry is the controller at Chem-Cast, a small manufacturer, and we are partners in the business. We have two sons. The oldest, John, has lived in Los Angeles since his graduation from DePauw University in 1999. He is in the entertainment industry and is currently with David E. Kelley Productions working behind the scenes on ABC's The Practice. Our younger son, Ben, is a senior at Depauw and will graduate in May 2001. Although he is looking at MFA grad school programs or internships in theater, he isn't really sure what he'll be doing after graduation. Besides teaching I'm very active in our local community theater (on stage and behind the scenes) and regret that I didn't do any theater in high school. I'm also involved in Phi Delta Kappa (education) and head up the mentoring program in our grade school, which matches community volunteers with students. I participate in two book groups and play handbells at our church. I like to travel but lack of time/resources prevent me from going all over the world.
