About My Personal Life

I moved to Tulsa, OK during my senior year, but have always considered NSHS my home school. I married, had 3 children, divorced, and remarried in 1987. My husband adopted all three children. Our youngest son died in 1999 at age 14, six months after he was diagnosed with leukemia. He wanted to be an astronaut, so we sent some of his ashes into space where they now orbit every 90 minutes. His story is at www.netwrx1.net/~gregb My other kids are doing fine, and I'm very proud of them. I work full-time as an RN. I spent my first 5 years working in critical care, mainly ICU. After Greg died, I needed to reduce the stress in my life, so I transferred to inpatient physical rehab. I enjoy it immensly, as I am allowed to express my ideas, and have been able to introduce ideas that have made a difference in the quality of care for our patients, or have made things easier for my fellow staff members. In my spare time, I like to make computerized designs for my embroidery machine. I also have an internet business selling designs, and embroidery supplies.
