May 08, 2009: About My Work Life; More or less, I am responsible for making sure that the students coming through my pipeline are given teh information that they need in order to become competent Sonar Technicians. In addition to that, since they are all fairly new to the navy, I am also responsible for ensuring that they maintain basic military standards...uniform appearance, living conditions, etc., and helping them solve problems that arise, so it's like being a mix of teacher, guidance counselor, boss, and whatever title you would give to someone that makes sure your living quarters are sanitary.
May 08, 2009: About My Personal Life; I'm a Sonar Technician instructing the Submarine Electronics and Computer Field 'A' School at naval Submarine School, Groton, CT. I've been here for about 2 years, and have a year left then it's off to wherever the navy needs me to go. I got (re)married in September of 2006 to Rickie Brandon (Gardner) and we have 2 wonderful children together, Aidan and Jasmine.
Jun 27, 2005: About My School Life; Well, I was that kid who was always wasted and slept through all of my classes except A/V production (thanks Mr. Chirnow for having a cool class), ROTC, and band. I distinctly remember more than one teacher telling me that I'd never amount to anything and I guess they were partly right, since I had to change my life around, but now I'm fairly successful and living well.
