About My School Life

I enjoyed getting my undergrad degree at DePaul downtown, and also my law degree. Notice I'm not mentioning anything about high school! Don't remember that much - remember a very fun locker-mate and getting that weird male librarian tied to a table - don't guess those are the things one is supposed to remember!Also remember many great teachers and good friends - where are you all now?

About My Personal Life

I've been married & divorced (whew!), and finally married again. We live in a beautiful home in Glen Ellyn which is stacked all over with books (mine). We had 5 cats when we moved in, now have 1. My mom died at an early age, so that's been very difficult. My dad is still in Arl. Hts. so I'm out there a lot! For those of you who moved away, you won't recognize the place if you come back. Even the high school is different (much better than when we went there). Working on my 3rd career.

About My Work Life

Spent 20 years in Human Resources in hospitals, developing pension plans, benefit & salary plans. Left that in 1994 & went to law school @ Loyola downtown. If you're thinking about doing that, talk to me first! Worked with indigent and homeless, disabled and those with life prison sentences and death row inmates. Have cut back on that - now have an online bookstore that will be going to a brick & mortar store in about a year. Sell new and used books and I love it! Would love to sell all of you some books! I enjoy what I'm doing but still have to find that niche - sell a lot of children's books, especially to adults who remember them from their own childhood.
