Jan 19, 2000: About My Personal Life; Now that we have been out of high school for a few years, I'd like to take this opportunity to clear a few things up. I know that alot of you thought that I was a player in high school and that I used girls alot so that I could get what I wanted. The truth is that the only reason I did that was to hide the fact that I am and always have been gay. My father would have never allowed it and I knew that none of you would have accepted me otherwise. All I ever wanted was to fit in and I knew that it would have been impossible to do so had I come out while we were still in high school. I am very proud of who I am and I am having a wonderful time being with my new life partner, Tony. He provides me with the support and love that I need in order to feel comfortable in my sexuality. We met in my hometown of San Saba and we have been together ever since. I hope you all can understand the way of life that I have chosen and I hope you all don't view me in a different way. I am comfortable with who I am and I hope that everyone else can be as well.
