About My Personal Life

Since 1986 I've worked in the "Hub City" better known as Compton. In these past 18 yrs i've been a Firefighter, Firefighter/Paramedic, and now i'm a Captain. I have seen more then my share of death and destruction. From the earthquakes,riots, firestorms,i've been there, but thats why I love my job!!!. I am Married and have one son who is everything too me. I also have 2 cats and one dog that are all rescues. I live in the city of Whittier now!!!Life has been good to me.

About My Work Life

I ‘m a blessed person in life and I’m very grateful for everything that I have. I was able to get into the field that I wanted to do since I was a kid. I got on the fire department at the age of 21, and then was sent to paramedic school at Mt. SAC at the age of 24. Mt Sac is one of the better paramedic schools in the country I’m glad the fire department sent me their. I remained a firefighter/paramedic for 10 years but after all the death and destruction, all the sleepless night, I just burned out and got off the paramedic squad and just went back to being a firefighter, no more going to the hospital. Just take vitals, and help with the patient. I promoted to captain in 2001. I married my wife after living with her for 1 ½ years. We’ve been married since October of 1998 we have a son who was born in April of 2002. I own a home, and land in Oregon where I would like to retire in about 12 years. Like I said I am blessed and thank God for everything he has given me.
