I moved to beautiful Naples FL in 2005 with my wonderful husband David and my two charming sons Chris (6) and Jack (2). David works in Chicago during the week as Consulting Principle doing a Project Manager position for CSC. He is British and from North London. We travel frequently and once stayed there while he was working in Paris for half a year. During the week I ferry around the children, do play dates, school commitees, MOMs Club, Chris' sports, totally managed a remodel of a Naples home for the market, go to the beach (Chris is doing well on his Skim Board), watch the dolphins, swam with a harmless Sand Shark, look out for alligators (my friend told me we would get used to them- like squirles- I told her that if I saw a 6 foot squirle I would be even more paniced!)and have tea on Thursday mornings with my girlfriends. When we are not at the beach, the boys in this household have a fun toy- David's 911 Porsche- in which we all go to the Porsche track days and watch him race. At the end of each day we sit out by the pool on the Lanai and watch stunning sunsets beyond the Palm trees. That's a lot. Living in Naples is a unique lifestyle, and we love it. It was an easy desision to move here because I already have family here and my in-laws built a beautiful home for when they visit from London. I must say I have become acustomed to a life in flip-flops, which I detested until I moved here. No one ever knows what the future holds, but for this moment in time we are happy and life is good. P.S. If anyone ever gets to visit Naples, look us up- even if we didn't remember eachother well- and we'll do a tour on an airboat or a swamp buggy ride through the swamps!
