About My Personal Life

For the last 10 years, I have been Caregiving. After 25 years of owning an Ace Hardware in Arcadia. Still like gardening, photography, and cooking.Moving to Mokelumne Hill over a year and 1/2 ago has been a good move. It is an old Gold Rush town, full of History. Population is about 770. We live next door to the original 1864 old schoolhouse. In fact, our house was built in the play yard. Lots of memories this property must have. In April of 2008 I found a lump in my breast. Fast to have a mammogram, ultrasound and doppler. Sure enough I had a golfball size lump. So had to have a radical mastectomy, and am now on Chemo. Just had my 2nd treatment today 6-27-o8. Not to fun, but it has to be done. I have a good outlook, and try to keep my spirits up. I should be done with all my treatments by Christmas. We are right off of Hwy.49, and just love the slower lifestyle up here. Let me hear from you.
